BPR Fourth Quarter Regular Meeting Reminder

In accordance with the USAPA Constitution & Bylaws Article V Section 3 and USAPA UOM Section 3 Paragraph I.a.1, the fourth quarter Regular Meeting of the Board of Pilot Representatives will commence at 0900 on Wednesday, December 4, 2013, and conclude at 1700 on Friday, December 6, 2013 or at the conclusion of business. The meeting will be held at the USAPA Offices in Charlotte.

BPR Special Meeting Notice

In accordance with the USAPA Constitution & Bylaws Article V Section 3, and USAPA UOM Section 3 Paragraph II.a.1, President Gary Hummel is calling a Special Meeting of the USAPA Board of Pilot Representatives to commence at 0900 EST on Tuesday December 3, 2013, and conclude at 1800 EST, or  the completion of this agenda.  The purpose and single agenda item for this meeting is a briefing from the Negotiating Advisory Committee and discussion of the JCBA issues.

Do to the subject matter of this meeting it will be conducted in closed session.

BPR Special Telephonic Meeting Notice

In accordance with the USAPA Constitution and Bylaws Article 5, Section 3 C. and the Union Operating Manual Section 3 III., there will be a Conference Call of the Board of Pilot Representatives on Friday, November 15, 2013, commencing at 0900 EST and adjourning at 1100 EST or the conclusion of business. The agenda for this meeting is:

  1. Review/approval of USAPA’s Amicus Curiae Brief in the case of Unites States of America, et al. versus US Airways Group, Inc. and AMR Corporation (Case No. 1:13-cv-01236-CKK)
  2. Review/approval of a letter addressing West Seniority List pilots who are currently working at the East Operation placement on the East Seniority List.

Participants will include the Board, Officers, Communications, NAC and Legal Counsel.

Motions, Resolutions, and Votes in this Recap are not official until Meeting Minutes are approved.

In accordance with the USAPA Constitution and Bylaws Article 5, Section 3 C. and the Union Operating Manual Section 3 III., there was a Special Telephonic Meeting of the Board of Pilot Representatives on Friday, November 1, 2013, that commenced at approximately 10:10 AM EDT. The agenda for this meeting was:

  1. NAC briefing on the iPad agreement
  2. Review Kasher Award and dissenting opinion regarding the 3% grievance and evaluate legal options including a BPR resolution to pursue action to vacate the Award in federal court

Participants included the Board, Officers, Communications, NAC, Grievance Chairman and Legal Counsel.

Vice President Steve Bradford chaired the call since President Hummel was not available. After roll call, the meeting began with the 1st agenda item.

The agenda for this meeting was:

  1. NAC briefing on the iPad agreement
  2. Contract review and approval of Coastside electronic services

Participants included the Board, Officers, Communications, NAC and Legal Counsel. Eric Ferguson was the Duly Designated Representative for David Simmons, Ron Nelson held the proxy for Courtney Borman, Joe Stein held the proxy for Pete Dugstad, and Roger Velez held the proxy for John Scherff. President Gary Hummel and Paul Music were not on the call.

The meeting was held at the USAPA Offices in Charlotte.
